Chess. Nodirbek Yakubboev became the champion of the "Qatar Masters" tournament, while Nodirbek Abdusattorov became the vice-champion!
From October 11-20, a chess tournament, part of the Masters series, took place in Doha, Qatar. After the final 9th round, our two chess players had accumulated 7 points each, establishing a joint leadership in the tournament standings. In both tie-break games, Yakubboev won, becoming the tournament champion. Nodirbek Abdusattorov took second place. Javohir Sindarov, who scored six and a half points, secured the 4th position according to additional criteria.
